Due to COVID we have not been doing any in-person classes. However, Karima Nadira is currently teaching my Oriental technique in on line classes via ZOOM from my Brooklyn studio while you dance with her in the comfort & privacy of your own premises.
This special tribute is scheduled to take place at the 2013 World of Orient Festival in Hanover, Germany. See you there!
Basics for learning & strengthening technique: movements are broken down into bite-sized pieces, so you don’t choke on them – Morocco’s very carefully designed barre / warmup using Oriental dance’s vocabulary in an easy to understand format.
This warmup / barre is then used as the beginning of every Oriental dance class here, so that the “alphabet” of this wonderful dance becomes second nature to our students.

A celebration is to be held in honor of Morocco’s life achievements in dance at the 25th Anniversary Concert of the Sabuha Shahnaz’ School of Oriental Dance in Augsburg, Germany.

Morocco will teach a beautiful, slow Oriental choreography to “Saddakt Khalas” by Saber Rebai, then Q & A re Morocco’s 5-star reference book, “You Asked Aunt Rocky”. Get your own autographed copy, followed by a participant’s performance – all at Husa Zahir.
